Michèle Faris, PsyD
Michèle has been in practice in Fort Collins, CO for over 30 years providing therapy and leading workshops at various community agencies including the Department of Social Services and Larimer County Mental Health. She received her PsyD from the University of Northern Colorado in 1988. She went on to work in private practice and in 1996 began work at Colorado State University.
Dr. Faris’s approach can be embodied as “compassionate problem solving,” using tools from Eastern and Western approaches to psychotherapy including interpersonal, and cognitive behavioral approaches as well an eastern practice of gratitude. She draws on multiples perspectives and her own life experience as a woman, cancer survivor and mother.
